We provide real, easy, and affordable solutions for vulnerable community members looking to improve their health through food.

Our free six-week nutrition and cooking class series is hosted by our Bilingual Nutrition Education Program Lead, Haley, who walks you through everything you need to know to make healthier decisions in the kitchen. This includes basic nutrition information, how to prepare healthy and delicious food in a way that’s easy and affordable, and tips for managing common health and dietary concerns.

98% of participants agree that they are more confident in their ability to make nutritious meals because of this class: using more vegetables, fruit, whole grains, and lean proteins.

94% of participants agree that their ability to read nutrition labels has improved because of this class.

Class Details:

  • One-hour in-person or virtual class for six consecutive weeks

  • Interactive nutrition education and recipe demonstration

  • Free weekly grocery bags containing the recipe ingredients

  • Up to 20 participants per class

  • Classes available in English or Spanish
