Thank you for volunteering as a delivery driver!

We appreciate your time, dedication, and heart

Here’s everything you need to know before you volunteer as a delivery driver:

  • What should I wear? We require that all volunteers wear short sleeves or longer and closed-foot shoes.

  • What if I’m feeling unwell? For the safety of our staff, volunteers, and the people we serve, please do not volunteer if you aren’t feeling good.

  • Who should I tell if I have to miss an upcoming volunteer shift? Please email volunteer@lifelong.org.

  • What happens if I know that I have an upcoming volunteer shift I have to miss? Volunteers must give at least a one week notice for any planned absences to ensure our neighbors still get the medically-tailored food that they rely on. Please email volunteer@lifelong.org to submit an upcoming notice of absence.

  • What should I do if I want to take some time off from volunteering? For any significant changes to your volunteer schedule, please email volunteer@lifelong.org with a two weeks’ notice so we can plan accordingly.

For all other questions about volunteering, email volunteer@lifelong.org.
