SEATTLE — An estimated 1.1 million people in the U.S. are currently living with HIV.
That means the work to remove barriers to health and spread compassion for people living with the virus and other chronic illnesses is never done.
James Shackelford, the new CEO of the non-profit organization Lifelong, joined ARC Seattle co-anchor Steve McCarron to talk about his priorities as he steps into the position, the communities Lifelong serves, the current demand for Lifelong's services, and how the organization is evolving to meet changing demands in public and community health.
