Complete the online application listed below the opportunity. 

Step 3:

After you apply, look for an email confirmation regarding the submission of your application. A staff member from the Volunteer Department will contact you as soon as possible to setup a phone interview and discuss your interest further.

 

COVID information: COVID vaccinations are required for all volunteers in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. We continue to practice on-site precautions, including social distancing, additional cleaning, and limited occupancy.

 

food delivery Volunteer

Location: Various routes in King & Snohomish Counties

Volunteer delivery drivers are the heart and soul of our food and nutrition program, delivering thousands of nutritious grocery bags and medically-tailored meals to neighbors living with serious illnesses. Volunteers deliver food to about 8 clients once per week, and routes usually take 1-2 hours to complete.

Requirements: 18+, must have reliable transportation, proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, valid driver’s license, and car insurance.

Volunteer Commitment: Weekly or bi-weekly, for 3+ months

What to wear: Closed-foot shoes, mask.

  • Tuesday - Burien, West Renton, Magnolia/Interbay

  • Wednesday - Lynnwood, Shoreline, Everett, North Seattle

  • Thursday - Renton

 

Meal Bag Volunteer

Location: 210 S. Lucile Street, Seattle, WA 98108

Meal bagging volunteers work together with a staff lead to assemble our nutritious groceries for neighbors living with serious illnesses. Meal bagging is a fun and impactful way to give back to your community!

Requirements: Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, must be able to stand for much of the shift and lift 10-30 pounds.

What to wear: Closed foot shoes, hair tied back, and a shirt with sleeves.

Grocery Program Volunteer

Location: 210 S. Lucile Street, Seattle, WA 98108

Grocery program volunteers bag groceries for weekly distribution, organize food donations, repackage bulk food donations, and stock carts. If you love providing food to your neighbors and want to make a difference, this is a great opportunity for you!

Shift Times:

  • Monday - Friday: 9:30 am - 12 pm and 1:30 - 4 pm

Requirements: Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

What to wear: Closed foot shoes, hair tied back, and a shirt with sleeves. We recommend bringing an extra layer since it can get chilly.
